Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen
This nature reserve near Zandvoort is no less than 3400 hectares in size. Water has been pre-treated here for Amsterdam since 1853. This makes it the oldest water extraction area in the Netherlands. You can especially enjoy walking through the varied nature, because cars and even bicycles are not allowed here. You can also spot wildlife here, such as foxes, sand lizards and deer.
Golf courses Noordwijkerhout
In the middle of the dunes and close to the North Sea beach are a number of beautiful golf courses. The Noordwijk Golf Club is one of the most beautiful courses in the Netherlands. Other golf courses nearby are the public Golf Course Tespelduyn and Golfcentrum Noordwijk.
Zandvoort
Zandvoort is mainly known for the race track. But you can also enjoy a lovely walk on white sandy beaches or stroll along the 5 km long Boulevard. Then settle down on a terrace in the cozy village center or explore the beautiful nature. Zandvoort is located between the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park in the north and the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen in the south.
Flower parade
Every year in April, the Bloemencorso of Noordwijk is organized. From Noordwijk, the parade travels a 40 kilometer route towards Haarlem. The parade consists of about twenty The parade consists of about twenty decorated floats and special vehicles, and is preceded by a festive promotional caravan. An illuminated flower parade also drives through Noordwijk on the evening before the Bloemencorso. Highly recommended!
Keukenhof
Enjoy the splendour of the flowers during spring at the Keukenhof. No wonder this is one of the most popular attractions in the Netherlands.
The LAM museum
Located in Lisse is perhaps the most surprising art museum in the Netherlands: the LAM. In an unusual building, amid the greenery of the Keukenhof estate, Kijkcoaches make you take a special look at everyday things. All artworks have something to do with food, drink and shopping. The LAM museum has the largest food art collection in the world. Think chocolates as big as footballs (hey, who ate them?), a year's worth of one man's food and drink in an overwhelming porcelain installation, a banquet table where the guests are very special and much more.
After your visit, enjoy a walk through the neighbouring forest, some treats at Restaurant De Hofboerderij or a stroll around the castle. For the little ones, there is a petting zoo and a gnome walk.
Duinrell
Looking for a fun outing in the Noordwijk area? Then visit amusement park Duinrell! A great outing for the whole family. Or do you prefer swimming and like to slide down the most awesome slides? Then visit the Tiki Pool in Duinrell! It is the largest water park in the Benelux. You can also have hours of fun in the amusement park with more than 40 attractions. Duinrell is about a 20-minute drive from Noordwijk.

Get in a Renault Twizy, a 2-seater electric vehicle, for an adventurous ride through the bulb region. Using GPS navigation and the audio guide in the car, you will drive past all the hotspots of Noordwijk.

Noordwijk = salutary seaside resort
Forget expensive salt baths and the thermal baths of Bath. Since 2020, Noordwijk has been declared a 'salubrious seaside resort'. The clean sea, the high salt content and the fresh air make Noordwijk a spa resort. This means that the seawater is good for your skin and has a healing effect. Are you ready for a healthy swim?

Zuid-Kennemerland National Park
Walk up dunes, down dunes, across vast open plains and through rare dune oak forests. The dune landscape National Park South-Kennemerland covers four estates that were once owned by Amsterdam merchants who used this area as a hunting ground. In the dunes, the bunkers from the Second World War tell of the war's past. Meanwhile, keep your eyes open: this is also the habitat of fallow deer, Scottish highlanders and konik horses, among others.
Tulip Experience
Near EuroParcs Noordwijkse Duinen you will find Tulip Experience Amsterdam, a unique experience in the Tulip Region. Here you can take beautiful photos among the 1 million tulips and 500 different varieties. You can also explore the history of tulips and how they are grown. There is also a coffee shop, a regional market, art exhibitions, cinema and you can buy local products and souvenirs. There is also an indoor picking garden, take home your own bunch of tulips!

Public Observatory Copernicus
Gazing at the stars, that's very well possible at people's observatory Copernicus. It is located on the edge of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park and is regularly open to the public. When it's clear, you can see the planets and nebulae through the telescopes in the dome. Keep an eye on the website for the opening hours.
